Ginger’s Kitchen produces a growing range of high quality distinctive chef prepared meals, soups and salads. All dishes are innovative, have strong visual appeal and deliver maximum flavour. No excessive packaging is used to keep waste to a minimum and where possible biodegradable or recyclable products are used.
Soups
Available in various sizes you will find our wholesome and warming soups include a lightly spiced Moroccan, carrot, butternut squash and chickpea soup with harissa, spinach, puy lentil, crème fraiche and thyme and also a delicious and nutty textured Goan red lentil soup coconut and coriander.
Panibois
The Panibois are biodegradable wooden baking moulds manufactured by a small company in France. They are best baked in the oven, although can be popped in the microwave too.
The meals-for-two Panibois range changes according to the seasons and currently includes lamb moussaka, crispy pan-fried fish cakes, creamy fish pie, spinach and ricotta cannelloni and rosemary chicken topped with crushed herb roast potatoes, Gruyere and pancetta lardons.
Pots
The pots are prepared so the components retain their texture, flavour and nutrients. We have two sizes, a single serve and a two serve.
The single serve range currently includes wild mushroom and smoked garlic risotto, chicken, preserved lemon and olive tagine with chick pea cous cous and cumin-roasted vegetables and a delicious Goan chicken curry with red lentil and coconut daal, basmati rice spiced with curry leaves and freshly picked coriander.
The 550g two serve pots includes a slow cooked two-beef chilli spiced with harissa paste, Thai chicken green curry with kafir lime leaves, tamarind and coriander and also a delicious Persian inspired aubergine stew with green lentils, fenugreek seeds, lemon zest and tomato.
Salads
New on the menu at Ginger’s Kitchen is a range of salads which includes a zesty Thai noodle salad with sugar snap peas, crushed cashew nuts and a kaffir lime leaf and chilli dressing, a moist Tabouleh salad spiked with wild and Camargue red rices and a new potato salad with caramelised onions chorizo, smoked paprika and parsley. Our salads can be eaten on their own or as part of a meal and go especially well with a barbeque.
